About
Welcome to Baldassarre, a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Milan on V. Ruggero Boscovich, 22. This charming eatery captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine, inviting you to indulge in a rich culinary experience that truly represents the flavors of Italy. With a warm and friendly atmosphere, Baldassarre is the ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike who seek honest, satisfying meals without the pretense.
Upon stepping into Baldassarre, you are greeted by a team of enthusiastic staff who are eager to share their passion for good food. Many guests, like Farhad Varzandeh, have praised the welcoming nature of the service, creating a sense of home away from home. The menu is filled with a variety of dishes that showcase culinary tradition, such as their delightful seafood risotto, which Lihua Bao described as “perfectly cooked with tons of flavor.” It is this dedication to authentic preparation that sets Baldassarre apart.
However, be mindful of the occasional inconsistency. As observed by some patrons, experiences can vary—from dishes like the carbonara, which many find satisfying, to seafood offerings, which can sometimes miss the mark in terms of moisture. Jane’s experience underlines the importance of managing expectations, especially regarding the cozy yet occasionally cramped seating arrangements.
The affordability of Baldassarre’s menu is another highlight, making it a fantastic value for the quality offered. Customers, such as Febriana Wulan Sari, have praised not only the prices but the range of delicious options that cater to different tastes. Whether you opt for the classic pizza or the hearty steak, you can expect a thoughtful presentation and a commitment to flavor, even if some dishes may require adjustments to truly shine.
The dining experience is enhanced by a casual atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploration. Matthew West encapsulated this perfectly, noting it as a "great local spot" where one can enjoy a laid-back meal. Whether you decide to watch a game with fellow diners or enjoy a quiet dinner, Baldassarre offers an inviting space to gather over delicious food.
In conclusion, Baldassarre stands as a testament to authentic Italian dining in Milan. Its combination of warm service, flavorful dishes, and reasonable prices certainly earns it a place on any food lover’s itinerary. So, whether you’re a local or just passing through, I encourage you to savor the experience at Baldassarre—you might just find your new favorite Italian dish.
“ Due to a long journey, we still have water in our bags and did not ordered a water or drinks and suddenly the waitress took out the glass. Might she doesnt knew or whatever. But overall authentic dishes was all good. First time to eat in italy and i don't know that they charge if you dine in inside in winter season. Not sure though ”
“ Overall a good experience. The staff are super friendly with everyone and you would indeed feel welcomed. The carbonara was good however the steak was TOO oily! And also very thin compared to the pictures in the menu. Maximum 0.5 cm. The less fatty parts tasted good though. ”
“ Like the risotto with sea food, perfectly cooked with tons of flavor. Caesar salad was good as well. Service was fast, went on a not too busy early evening. ”
“ All the foods were very delicious and the price was affordable. The service was very great. I came twice, that’s why I tried multiple dishes but I loved them all. I would definitely come here again if I visit Milan in the future. ”
“ Solid meal at a great local spot. The server was friendly, and the food was good—nothing overly fancy, just well-made and satisfying. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a quick bite without any fuss. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxed, no-frills dining experience! ”
